Safe and CUTE alternative to bumper, March 6, 2012 By This review is from: HALO Safe Sleep Crib Set, Caterpillar (Baby Product) I recently received this set for my baby. I have recently heard about the suffocation hazards that bumpers pose and wanted a safer option for my baby. I chose this Safe Sleep Crib set in the friendly caterpillar pattern. It came complete with 2 crib sheets and crib skirt, halo swaddler and sleep sack.
The set looks ADORABLE in my baby's room. The crib sheets are made out of a nice cotton jersey and the skirt has a really nice pattern of greens and blues. The set is neutral enough for a girl or boy and fits nicely into almost any decor.
The Halo Swaddler is great. I have owned these before and always love how safe and secure they make my little one. The swaddler is sized for a newborn and can be worn as a swaddler with the arms in, or as a wearable blanket with the arms out. I also love the Halo Sleep sack. We have been using Halo SleepSacks for our 2 year old since she was old enough to roll over. They are a terrific product, which made us eager to try the full Halo Safe Sleep Crib Set. The set includes a small SleepSack, a small swaddle, 2 jersey knit fitted sheets and a bed skirt. While most parents will need to buy more SleepSacks and swaddles than what is included, having just one of each makes the most sense so parents can try them out and see what they like. We have tried many swaddles and ended up liking Kiddopotamus & Co. Organic Cotton SwaddleMe - Ivory the best, but Halo's swaddles are very good.
The fabrics used on all the items in this set are soft and breathable cotton. I much prefer the fabric Halo uses in this set to the cotton flannel and fleece some manufacturers use. The swaddle and SleepSack will keep... Read more
